These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of language1friend.com and its related features (the "Service"), operated by Language1Friend ("we," "us"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.
You sign in to the Service using Google Sign-In. You're responsible for keeping your Google account secure - we never see or store your Google password. You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
You may upload photos, voice clips, and other content to your profile ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content, but you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, and display it within the Service solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service to you and other users.
You're solely responsible for the User Content you upload. You agree not to upload content that:
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) harass, threaten, or abuse other users; (c) attempt to access accounts or data that aren't yours; (d) interfere with or disrupt the Service's operation; or (e) use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our permission.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, at our discretion, with or without notice.
The Service uses Google Sign-In for authentication, and may use other third-party services (such as Google/YouTube embedded content, or advertising delivered through the Google Display Network) to operate or support the Service. Your use of those third-party services is also governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time (see our Privacy Policy for how). We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, and we are not responsible for the conduct or content of any user.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Language1Friend and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
